Tina Wittenbrook, B.S., NCPT

Educator

My name is Tina Wittenbrock and I am originally from Jackson, California, a town with rich mining history located in the foothills of Northern California.

I moved to North Idaho in 1994, where I pursued my B.S. in Education from the University of Idaho. I have 18 years teaching experience (public school & mental health).  I also have 5 years of experience supporting, teaching and guiding youth struggling with developmental disability challenges.

I enjoy continuing to learn in the field of mental health with an emphasis on adolescents. I have spent the last 2 years taking courses and learning about Trauma and Resilience, building positive cultures in a learning environment, as well as identifying and responding to trauma with evidence-based strategies. I have also worked for the past couple of years on obtaining National Certification as a Psychiatric Technician.

In the winter, I enjoy skiing and attending hockey games with my husband and 2 teenagers. During the summer, we enjoy kayaking and riding bikes. One of my favorite trails to ride is The Hiawatha Trail. We enjoy traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest whether that be visiting National Parks or exploring the beaches of Washington and Oregon.
