Laura’s background as both a teacher and therapist made her a natural fit for Innercept. After earning her degree in secondary education from the University of Montana, Laura spent four years helping excite high-school students about the world in her social-studies classes. She then turned her focus to pursue work as a habilitative interventionist therapist, working with her clients one-on-one to help implement behavior plans that enhance their lives, as well as those of their families.
Since joining the Innercept education team, Laura has returned to her love for teaching and now partners with the residents to inspire them in their educational journeys. Her ability to listen to the students’ needs and find ways to explain concepts creatively and memorably is an asset to every resident enrolled at Innercept Academy.
