Rob Little’s career began by teaching electronics in the Navy in 1990. After joining civilian life, Rob had several “normal jobs” that included working as a youth pastor and a community-based rehabilitation service provider. However, Rob returned to his love of teaching by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education in 2009. In addition to his B.A., Mr. Little also holds an Idaho State Children’s Certificate from his time serving students and youth through Family Support Services of North Idaho. He has now worked as a full-time middle school and high school teacher for the past eight years and has taught almost all core classes.
Rob gained experience working with clients on mental and developmental health issues during his early years of teaching. He loves that at Innercept, he can support his students both academically as well as emotionally. Since joining Innercept’s education team, he has enjoyed making connections and instilling academic skills to some incredible students. Rob and his wife are foster parents and they enjoy spending time with family in the North Idaho wilderness. He has also taught classes in outdoor education and wilderness and survival and he loves to provide his students with exposure to all the beautiful things this world has to offer.
