Kimberly Gilbert, B.S., M.B.A.


    After earning a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Missouri State University, Kimberly Gilbert worked 10 years as a Probation/Parole Officer for the State of Missouri before pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources. After graduation, she worked in business before returning to her passion: social services. Kim worked as a CNA, caregiver, and for a domestic violence shelter in Illinois before moving to Nevada in 2015, where she was a Psychiatric Caseworker. Kim served Nevadans as Secretary on the NAMI Southern Nevada Board of Directors and as a Family Support Coordinator with NAMI Western Nevada, giving her opportunities to help families and caregivers of people living with mental illness.  Kim discovered Innercept in 2021 and was drawn to the philosophy of a holistic approach and emphasis on the natural order and timing of the individual’s growth and healing. Kim is nearing completion of a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of Phoenix and is working under the license of Dr. Lynn Wierdsma, Psy.D.
